A LITTLE MEMORY OF BERNARD HAITINK LAST CONCERT
The final concert of Bernard Haitink in The Netherlands in the Concertgebouw Amsterdam on June 15. Aged 90, the maestro chose to finish his conducting career with one of his favorite works: Anton Bruckners 7th symphony played by the outstanding Radio Philharmonic Orchestra: the first orchestra where he was chief conductor.
I am feeling so incredibly grateful to have been part of this memorable event and historical moment. It was very special playing under Haitink and, as he said himself, making music together. This concert will always stay in my heart.
Thank you to the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra for always welcoming me so warmly and your great music making!
